![]() In Elizabeth’s case, “what do you hold yourself responsible for?” Her answer - “Anything that happens in this company is my responsibility.” The best part - her affirmative head nod when the question was asked - contrarian to media savvy trained CEO’s! I liked it. Yet, I once knew an executive whose one goal was to have no failed projects stick to his name. We become natural cheerleaders when people like 7- Eleven CEO resign in the most genuine honest way possible - taking ownership. What I have never understood - posturing. Be yourself, show your insecurities- we can relate. ![]() What I can share with conviction - I felt she was her human best in the interview. I am not absolving her of her context - that, I have no say. When I watched the video, I felt exactly opposite. ![]() I read articles about this interview - she was fleeced for her interview performance. Unless you are swimming in the deep end of the earth away from tech, you know or heard about this interview. My view is contrarian to many in the written world. I liked her (Elizabeth’s) recent interview.
